I cannot understand how this is not a neutral venue for all four teams. I know that home and away arrangements seem to be in place but I really do think that an All-Ireland semi-final should be played on neutral grounds. Still, no reason that the girls cannot win and a victory in Kilkenny's back yard would be just the ticket for a tilt at the title.
Best of luck to all involved. Up Wexford. |

| I wonder will Wexford G.A.A. avoid a clash with the camogie semi-final on Sat. 14th August? Wouldnt it be a pity if senior or intermediate teams are fixed to play in Wexford while the women are playing Kilkenny in the All-Ireland semi-final. Someone in authority should act now so that supporters and families wont be divided. Anyone know when the next G.A.A. championship are due to be played? |

Just to wish the girls all the best at the weekend. The game is at 4pm in Nowlan Park and is been broadcast on the web
http://www.rte.ie/sport/gaa/championship/ladiescamogie_index.html
There will be highlights on the Sunday Game @ 9pm on Sunday night
Alot of people dont realise the effort that these girls put in - between club and county alot of them train 5 times a week. Kilkenny will be a stern test. |

| Gud luk to the camogie team v Kilkenny on Saturday 14th at 4pm. I think they are gud enough to beat the Cats and qualify for the All-Ireland final. Pity they dont get more publicity, especially in the local media. The previews in the Echo and the People/Guardian papers were pathetic. Management needs to be clever against Kilkenny-who are bound to have some clever tactic thought out. |

Wexford 0-9 Kilkenny 0-8 at half time, mostly from Ursula Jacob frees but Wexford playing well after a slow start (went behind by 3) watching on RTE website but the co-commentator with Marty really does not like Wexford, knocking them and talking up Kilkenny!! _________________ Night is darkest just before the dawn… |

Wexford "shock and awe" the Cats - hit them for 2 goals in as many minutes, Wexford 2-11 to Kilkenny 0-9 points with about 10 mins to go. _________________ Night is darkest just before the dawn… |

Won't attempt a full report but Mary Lacey, Ursula Jacob and the very lively Catriona Parok were superb. _________________ Night is darkest just before the dawn…

From RTÉ.ie
A commanding second half performance was the key as Wexford secured their spot in the Gala All-Ireland Senior Camogie final in front of 3,082 people at Nowlan Park.
It threatened to be the Ann Dalton Show early on as the Kilkenny captain scored the opening three points, the first from a free and the latter pair from 45s.
Wexford's greater physical presence enabled them to gradually claw themselves back into proceedings, however, and with Ursula Jacob slotting six points from placed balls, they led at half-time by 0-8 to 0-7.
Kilkenny's radar was well off in the second half though as they shot seven wides and only managed three points before Denise Gaule struck for an injury time goal.
By that stage though, it was too little too late for the Cats as Wexford had rammed home three goals in the final quarter to put the game to bed.
Katrina Parrock took a pass from Kate Kelly to notch up the first in the 46th minute and two minutes later returned the favour with a sensational delivery to the onrushing centre-forward, who pulled first time to shake the rigging. When Kelly's speculative shot from 35m skidded off the turf into the Kilkenny net, the Model girls' progression was confirmed.

| Dont forget that the Wexford Intermediate team are in the all-Ireland semi-final this coming weekend against Limerick. The match is in Ardfinnan. Can somebody clarify if the game is on Saturday or Sunday. What are the chances of Wexford having two teams in Croke Park on the same day? |

The Intermediate game is on Saturday 21st Vrs Limerick in Ardfinnan, Co. Tipperary at 2.30pm
They have a very strong team so it would be a great result to have the two teams in Croker on Sept. 12th |
